Can you zip or rar your world and attach it so that we can reproduce the error?

Yup I get the same error message at the same spot. It used to work before.

I checked out the world that you attached. It looks like you don't actually have any signs and the code isn't quite handling this. Are these brand new worlds? Have you placed any signs? If you place a sign then save and try regenerating, does it work then?

Having the same issue. It appears to be related to sawmills being placed. My world that I was having this issue on has 2 sawmills. If I remove both of them, save and retry it no longer errors. If I replace either of them and save, it errors again.

It looks like the signs are causing it because it's in the sign reading part where the file finally runs out of data to read in.

Yes, it was caused by the sawmills being added in 1.0.6.1.

Your world draws perfectly fine under the latest code which I will try to clean up and get out today, assuming my cold lets my head clear up enough to think that straight.

I just recently got this error and I noticed that terraria is now on update 1.1.2. Something in this update caused this error, not sure what? Any ideas?
