and all the red dots lining the dungeon floors and ceilings...

The big red dots are the treasure pots and the smaller ones are our torches. Black dots can be seen if you deselect the markers before drawing the map. They represent gems, chests, altars, heart stones.

White blocks - Cobwebs

Black blocks - Gems

Saffron blocks - Copper

Dark Yellow blocks - Gold

Gray blocks -  Silver

Light Brown blocks -  Iron

Brown blocks - Dirt

Dark Brown blocks - Caverns/Passageways

Maroon Brown blocks - Mud

Dark Gray blocks - Stone

Yellow blocks - Sand

Pink blocks - Clay

Green blocks - Vines

Flouroscent Green blocks - Jungle

Bluish Violet - Corruption

Blue blocks - Water

Orange blocks - lava

Actually those black dots are a bug in the way the drawing code works.  It doesn't bother to draw a color for things that can have markers put for them but it still does not draw them when you turn off the symbol for that item.  I've already got a fix for it but I'm waiting to be able to get it in the new version.

So as a question if tracking of all ore types & Hellforges were added to the program would you still want a color legend?

And what other objects would you want tracking on?  I was thinking maybe cobwebs & pots (though pots aren't that great).
